As part of the LIFE Adapt’ Island project, the Grand Port Maritime de la Guadeloupe, in partnership with the European Commission and two Co-beneficiaries: URAPEG FNE Guadeloupe and Pilot4Dev, is organizing an International Symposium from July 4 to 5, 2023 in Guadeloupe.

THE INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM IS COMING SOON

This first symposium will focus on climate change and coastal ecosystems as part of the LIFE Adapt’ Island project, on July 4 & 5, 2023, at the Créole Beach Hôtel & SPA, in a hybrid format.

Around 250 international and transnational players will gather to exchange best practices in ecosystem protection and local community involvement in non-European island territories.

Our scientific committee will focus on our three target ecosystems: mangroves, seagrass beds and coral reefs. Also a project for mankind, the eco-systemic and socio-economic impacts will be discussed.

  • Price: Free of charge
  • Location: Available in person at the Créole Beach Hotel & SPA and online (videoconference)
  • Language: In English, translated into French

Whether you’re attending in person or virtually, we’re looking forward to meeting you, so register now and share with others who might be interested.

We look forward to welcoming all environmental and social players to share with you innovative ideas related to the future of biodiversity in the Caribbean.
